The video will centre on a person getting taken away into the song they are listening to, playing on the fact that music can be infectious, and take away people's inhibitions, getting people to join this person on their journey through the song, and allow them to explore their imaginations, and express and accentuate the emotions they feel throughout the song, whether it be through dancing, playing instruments, or just general getting down and crazy.

The look and style of the video will be 80's cliche rip off with the definitive style of that time, i.e bright clothing, ott sportswear etc. Using a desaturated style for the photography to enhance the 80's theme, this will be similar to those from polaroids, and disposable camera where the bright colours are enhanced and the shots looked aged.

Continuing with the 80's theme the props and costumes will enhance the idea of a musical parade, this will include some of the following idea;
bright make up,
crazy hair,
jump suits,
bright sportswear,\whistles,
drums,
cymbals
balloons,
ribbons,

For different shots we took inspiration from other music videos that share the same theme of having people following a lead character, with the crowd growing etc,

for example, Sandi Thom - I wish i was a punk rocker

both these type of videos use the theme of music taking you away, making everything bright and happy, and use good medium shots, we want to stay away from long shots to keep the scenes we shoot looking busy, and not revealing any empty spaces as people join the crowd, so we will be centreing around medium shots, and close ups that show instruments and people enjoying the music.

The video will follow a basic narrative that a person will be seen putting a cd into a player, the music starts and they suddenly transform their clothes into the style we have shown and the music will make them dance, and go outside, and dance their musical journey, picking up people (who are all wearing their neon gear) along the way, for example, there will be shots of people abandoning activities like football, shopping, swimming, buying ice creams, paperboys, etc. the person will be followed through as they travel through our chosen location, which is the glorious cambridge streets and suburbs, by the people who now magically all either have instruments, or are dancing, or doing acrobatics. when the song draws to an end the person will return to their normal clothing, and all the people will have disspaeared, revealing to the audience that itn was all in their imagination, and the music made them feel that it was really happening and it took them away to have a great time.

our video will be a fun filled colourful adventure for young, old, rich, and poor!!!!!!!!!!!
